Hey Ya’ll! I am here to tell you that you can have it all. I was able to raise my babies and now start a new career. Age is only a number. Go after your dreams no matter what stage of life you are in! My name is Crystal Little. I have been blessed to do life with my soulmate my hubby Kevin for 23 years. We have two beautiful children. A daughter Malia who is 22 and a son Matthew who is 17. I have always had a passion for skincare and for just looking the best that I possible could. Always trying to find the newest and best way to make my skin look great and younger. I put the passion on the back burner while I raised my babies. That was the best decision I ever made. I was able to spend so much time with them. We chose to homeschool them and just really enjoyed so many adventures with our kiddos. As they grew I really wanted to work again and contribute to the family financially. For 3 years I worked for Hilton Hotels. Partially at home and then the last year onsite. During the last year the Pandemic hit and I was furloughed indefinitely. I spent lots of time in my pool and just thinking about life. How I didn't really like my job and that I wished I could go to school and do what I love. I had been talking about being an Esthetician for several years but honestly in the back of my head I just figured it was a pipe dream and that because I was in my forties I had missed the boat. I was wrong You know how after a good hard thunderstorm there is a calmness and clearness in the air. The humidity tends to lessen just for a few moments and you just feel a calmness. Well I had a storm in life hit. My dad unexpectedly died of a heart attack. I called that morning to chat with him and little did I know that he was already gone. That was a dark and difficult storm but as time passed little by little I felt more peace and starting seeing life a little bit differently. It was then that I decided life was too short not to go after my dreams. I started Esthetician school and never looked back. After school I went to work right away at a spa and just continued to get more and more education so that I could learn as much as possible. After getting some great experience under my belt I felt led to open up my own place and that was the birth of Skin by Design. I have furthered my education by being certified with Dermaplane Pro as a Dermaplane specialist. I have also furthered my education with Face Reality as an acne specialist. Acne is one of my favorite skincare ailments to treat. There is nothing more satisfying than helping a client get clear skin after years of battling acne. I will always go after more education so that I’m always able to go further with my clients in the treatment room. I charge a 50% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled appointment
